Situated at the heart of what is reckoned to be the largest village in England, The George Hotel, with 5 rooms of accommodation, is a popular destination for surfing and other holidaymakers visiting the area. The relatively new owners reopened the George, following an extensive refurbishment, in April 2016. The focus now is very much on good quality, locally sourced food from an impressive a la carte menu.
