This pub has a pleasant setting near the church. Although having a semi-open plan layout, it retains a multi-room feel. The premises were extended to the rear in 2014 to increase the dining area. Due to a couple changes in management, food is not currently available and the real ale offering has become more limited, focussing on beers from the local Barker Bridge brewery. It is hoped that this pub returns to full operation soon.
