They only use water from the Geltsdale valley combined with the finest whole hops and malt to produce a range of the finest flavoured, balanced and creative craft ales in Northern England. Originally opened in 2006 by Fiona Deal, Geltsdale Brewery honours the traditional and proven methods of the original Brampton Brewery first opened in 1785, whilst applying a progressive and innovative approach to both beer style and brewing techniques.
