Imposing white-painted three-storey roundabout pub; the column-style pub sign hints at its previous Ember Inn incarnation. Note also the anonymous brick wall across the road which is actually a flood defence against the neighbouring river Tame. Not as large inside as one might expect, the pub has a wealth of outdoor seating; choose between the paved beer terrace to the front or the large grassy garden to the rear.
