This Pub is Permanently Closed

A former Matthew Brown pub which closed in the mid 1990's (probably 1994). It continued to trade as a restricted entry fun pub/club called the Trap Door for a few more years, before finally being demolished. The site is now occupied by a large industrial complex.

The main photo shows the pub up close in rather lurid dark green paintwork. The earlier picture has the pub in more sympathetic Matthew Brown colour scheme and clearly shows it's position among the industrial location.
