Attractive, rambling, thatched building dating from about 1150. Today much of the internal space is used for dining but the bar still offers up to four beers. Much woodwork is exposed. A well is located in one part of the bar. Disabled toilet. Local legend tells of a tunnel running from here to the nearby Stoke Ash White Horse, though we understand no evidence exists for it. In 2008 at the age of 19, Tom Parkhurst took over the pub & was then thought to be the youngest publican in the county.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 2 regular beers.
