This Pub is Closed Long Term
Built in the early 19th century and situated just off the A483 bypass on the Welshpool to Oswestry road. This roadside house is currently operating limited hours until a sale is completed. On Offas Dyke way this pub is popular with walkers in the summer and the hours will be extended during this period. There is a value for money Sunday dinner available at the moment but more food is planned shortly. There is a traditional bar and separate lounge area both with real open fires. The lounge has patio doors which lead out into a large beer garden which is visible from the main road. Given it's position a definite sleeping giant when out of the pubco's hands. In October 2014 a planning application was made to convert pub into housing. A petition and written objections were submitted to save this once prosperous inn. The application was refused and dismissed at appeal APP/T6850/A/15/3139726 on pub protection grounds in 2016. **Sadly the fight was lost for the Four Crosses Inn in February 2019 when Powys Planning gave consent for change of use to housing.**
This Pub serves 1 changing beer (One guest beer(From Admiral Tavern range)) and 0 regular beers.
