Town centre, traditional drinking pub dating from the 16th Century. Two or three changing real ales are kept, along with Sam's Medium cider from nearby Winkleigh. Darts, pool and cribbage are played. Hot food is limited to the very popular Sunday Roast but snacks and sandwiches can be delivered from the caf� nearby.
