Brewers' Tudor meets Truman's faience tiling in this listed building dating from 1814. A V shaped pub situated on the apex of a shap corner. Back in 1989 the pub was unspoilt retaining many of the 1930s features. The wood panelled walls were decorated with framed prints of Great Western Railway scenes.
Sadly sold and used as a recruitment agency c.2001 before being taken into restaurant use and is currently on its third name.
