Sports bar, coffee lounge and bistro that reopened on may 1st 2023, following a revamp and name change. Originally the loading bay area for the town's first post office, it first reopened as a pub in the 1980's. Since then it has had several periods of closure, refurbishment and reopening, most recently as Walsh's sports Bar. Breakfast, lunch, sandwiches and snacks are served every day from 7am, with Bistro evenings
from 5pm on Friday and Saturday evenings. There is an interesting mural of Rotherham landmarks and industrial scenes painted by renowned street artist Jo Peel on an outer wall.
Historic Interest
Originally the town's first postal sorting office and loading bay, built in 1915. Recent refurbishments have exposed the English stitched brickwork and original stained glass windows. There is an interesting mural on one side of the building, painted by the artist Jo Peel.
