This Pub is Closed Long Term

Three roomed traditional corner local behind the Victoria Shopping Centre on Huntingdon Street. The main bar is complemented by a snug and a pool room. It is a former Oakwell pub that reopened in June 2013, but now independently owned. Up to three local beers are served. Drinks offers on Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday.

Historic Interest

A Victorian corner pub, formerly a Shipstone's house, the Foresters' Inn was a beerhouse under publican Mrs. E. Mellors in 1868 (Wright).

Cave cellars measure 13m x 16m and are referenced MNU 497 and BGS Hj3.

As at November 2017, the freehold for the Foresters Inn (NT20624) was held by NOTTS CITY LIVING LIMITED (Reg. No. 8489864).
