Double-fronted, 19th-century locals pub incorporating a clean, bright, single room with U-shaped bar featuring an interesting 'oak effect' bar counter. Known locally as "Lottie Wardell's" after a previous long-serving landlady. Friendly atmosphere; children welcome (will organise children's parties on request); beer garden at rear includes a children's play area. Live music and/or karaoke Saturday evenings.
