Formerly the Dowty Club, a sports and social club for nearby Dowty Boulton Paul, Fordhouses Cricket Club relocated here from their Taunton Avenue base c.2000. The sports and social club consists of a large function room and a smaller bar, with a snooker room (2x snooker tables) accessed from the bar.

There is live music on a Sunday evening and regular events are held here throughout the year.
