This is a club, which means that the bar may be only open to members.
This friendly club is located in a rural location along a country lane outside the village of Footherley. There is a snooker table in the main bar area with an adjoining room where darts can be played. Amongst the activities organised are an annual clay pigeon shoot and various talks.
The club was founded sometime before the 1st World War by workers on the Footherley Estate. They moved to the current location during the 1930s. The building was originally prefabricated housing built around the 1st World War then converted for use as a working men's club.
