Large pub at east end of village comprising a 'tap-room' on the left ('mucky boots and mutts') and a larger, split-level lounge/dining area on the right ('high heels and posh frocks'). The tap-room is more pub-like with bare floorboards, a large fireplace and an attractive real fire in winter. The lounge is more food-oriented. Tables and chairs on the patio amid the well-tended planters and flower pots in front of the pub provide a pleasant outdoor seating area. As at July 2023 beer range varies, with a policy of at least one bitter and up to three other real ales. A varied breakfast menu is available from 10am daily, and beer may be ordered after food. Run by Oakman Pub Co.
