Located near the historic Salts Mill and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Saltaire, this cosy pub was formerly a police station, later a pet shop and more recently a beer shop. It has been extended into adjacent properties and, as a result, is a maze of rooms over two floors. It was refurbished and re-opened in mid-July 2021 under a change of ownership. The main bar is located to the left of the entrance and a lounge, with evidence of the original gas lighting, is adjacent. Nine handpumps offer a mix of regular and guest real ales. Twelve keg taps offer a range of craft beers, lagers and ciders. There are also two Guinness taps. A good range of foreign bottled beers is kept. Real fires add nicely to the welcome. An additional comfortable seating area is located upstairs.
