Large, imposing eponymous estate pub owned by Marstons. Could be described as a pub of two halves, with a basic long thin bar area to the front with large, squarer comfortable lounge to the rear. Lounge is split into some smaller drinking areas by timbered screens with stained glass features. Regular Banks's beer plus selection of three real ales taken from the Marstons range.
