It is well worth the short climb to this traditional, olde-worldy, and uniquely named ale house halfway up Flowergate. Three more well known beers are served to a recently refurbished, yet still intimate, single room by friendly bar staff, and where marine memorabilia is displayed on the walls. Original home of the Goths, the pub can get crowded during Goth weekends, as well as during Folk week. Live music at weekends. Children and dogs are allowed in until 8pm.
