Situated in a prominent position at a busy crossroads at the eastern edge of Cowbridge, this three-roomed pub has a strong local following. The building is of brick and local limestone and the sign dates it as 1899. The unspoiled traditional interior has stained glass panels in the windows, wood panelling and other original features. Both the main bar and the games room have wooden floors and open fires. To the rear is a separate cosy lounge with a door to the small patio area which serves as a beer garden. Live bands play most Saturday evenings.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 2 regular beers.
