This Pub is Permanently Closed

Formerly a pleasant moorland inn with panoramic views, the pub was then closed and boarded up. A planning application (ref. 13/04540/FUL) and Listed Building consent application (ref. 13/04541/LBC) was submitted in November 2013 to convert the pub into residential dwellings. This was granted by City of Bradford MDC in Dec 2013. Further applications (refs. 15/03021/FUL and 15/03022/LBC) were then submitted and validated in Jul 2015. Permission was granted in Jan 2016. Work to convert the pub has been progressing very slowly since and, in Aug 2023, was still ongoing.
