A traditional homely and very welcoming pub converted from 17th century cottages about 200 years ago. The public bar has a solid fuel wood burner and original wooden beams, heavily decorated with pump clips. There are two small TVs for sporting events, though these often have the sound turned down to allow conversation or may be tuned to Music TV with a low volume.
The quieter lounge has been tastefully refurbished and has a warming coal-effect gas fire.
A rear room caters for functions and has a darts board and large screen TV for sports events. Children are welcome in the rear room until 9pm.
There is a quiz every other Wednesday.
Traditional bar snacks, cobs and pork pies are available.
There is a beer garden at the rear of the pub with several tables on slabbed and grassed areas.
Level access into the pub and WCs (not adapted).
This Pub serves 6 changing beers and 3 regular beers.
