Drayton Park, Highbury

13/07/24 - it's open - A completely rebuilt and reorganised interior which someone may wish to review. There has been one check in on Untappd for a keg beer from the Great Beyond brewery in Hoxton. That's an improvement on the macro keg available in there before it closed! No cask beer confirmed Sept 2024. We cannot find a website for the pub.

09/07/24 - The Drayton Park - to the delight of all locals who have followed the “on/off” progress of the refurbishment - is on the point of re-opening. The lights are on, and tables and taps can be seen through the window. Any day now!!

18/03/24 - Exterior and Interior renovations have been taking place over a number months, with a notice now appearing on the door relating to licence amendment applications for the pub. Seems like it is springing back into life.

26/07/23 - "It appears that this pub has recently started refurbishments, no details have been posted outside but work has started on the pub. I can only assume they are looking to reopen."

The Drayton Park, Highbury was still closed yesterday 07/09/22. Talking to locals it seems the pub closed in lockdown and hasn’t reopened since. This was the only away fans pub in Arsenal before matches. It is opposite the stadium.

Part of this pub became Litro, an independent Italian ‘Osteria and bar’, serving Doom Bar, Keg Freedom lagers and Orchard Cider c.2011 but became Hot Wok by November 2013. The Drayton Park itself is a busy football pub.
