This Pub is Permanently Closed
Narrow, L-shaped bar with low beamed ceiling and separate restaurant area at one end. Golf society used to meet here. An Oakham is usually available plus a changing guest ale. Was called the Red Cow. The pub dates back to 1728, and became known as a popular spot where farmers could grab their lunches while they worked in the fields. After a period of closure, reopened in autumn 2014 as Decoy Bar & Indian Restaurant.
