An old coaching Inn believed to date back to the 16th century. Cosy main bar with wood panelling, low beams and an open fire. Courtyard and patio drinking areas with a separate restaurant/functions room. Popular with diners. Same ownership as Lamb & Flag opposite. A feature of the pub is the extensive collection of archive photographs and memorabilia. It has been put together from many sources over a number of years and has much interest as local history.
