This pleasant and friendly inn in the centre of Biggar, has hundreds of years of tradition behind it, officially dating from the mid-17th century. The bar area is directly accessed from the street and there is a small quiet room, conservatory and beer garden to the rear. Real ales are mainly from the Greene King stable but beers from independent Scottish breweries are also served. To maximise variety, beers can be sampled in flights of three third-pints.
