Brick building painted in Arkell's creamy house style. Large open-plan bar with separate dining area. Two Arkell's real ales are available. It has a reputation for good food with meals are served every day they are open with promotional evenings including Pie Wednesday's and Steak Thursday's. There is a large garden with wonderful views.
Bikers welcome and self-contained motorhomes as part of the 'Britstop' scheme.
Historic Interest
Mentioned as an Inn in Kelly's Directory of Wiltshire of 1903. Was part of Bowlys estate when it was sold to Simonds of Reading in 1945. Arkell's acquired it 1986 when it was a free house.
