Winner of Newark CAMRA Pub of the Year Award 2008-9, The Crown at Bathley is everything a village pub should be, picture postcard pretty, friendly and welcoming, the centre of the local community, a source of good food and most importantly, the supplier of quality cask ales.As Bathley doesn’t have a hall of any sort, the Crown stands in for family parties, christenings and funerals as well as Parish Council meetings.A very welcoming, friendly pub that is the hub of the community. Hot food. Lovely fire in winter. Food is served and is good quality pub grub being available all lunchtimes, and evenings except for Sunday evening.
