Built in the latter part of the 19th Century, the pub contains a medium size single room which in former years was split down the middle to form a bar and a lounge. Interesting Jarrow themed photographs and paintings adorn the walls of this popular community pub. There is a small function room upstairs.

Live music features Friday, Saturday & Sunday nights as well Monday & Friday afternoons from 1pm

Handy for town centre shops and the bus & metro station.
