This pub was built in 1909 in the small village of Wroot. Popular, and well supported by locals, this is a genuine village pub. One of the rooms displays posters from past performances of the village pantomime. Also home to a local football team. There are four separate rooms, two bars, a games room and a snug. Now with one or two rotating and two regular real ales. This is a drinker's pub, but meals are available four days a week. Pub of the season winter 2017/18
