A proper city centre 'boozer', The Cricketers Arms dates back to 1861 and is one of Southampton's most vibrant and lively pubs. Upon entering, you are greeted with a U-shaped bar featuring a mixture of keg fonts and 5 handpumps pouring a mixture of local and national beers. A range of non-real ciders are also offered. The Cricketers is well known for it's live music and often has live bands on weekends, with open mic and blues jam nights Monday and Tuesday respectively. Food is served 7 days per week, and they offer a well received roast every Sunday. Also known for showing live sports, the pub boasts a number of TV's including a large screen and outdoor TV's in their heated and covered garden. Opening times may sometimes be extended for events and Southampton FC home games.
This Pub serves 3 changing beers (Changing range up to 3, Flower Pots regularly featured) and 2 regular beers.
