This traditional country house hotel is set in three acres of gardens and woodland next to the River Cree and close to the town centre. Two ales are available throughout the summer, with one at other times. Food choices are excellent and locally sourced meat, game and fish are served. The bar and lounge areas have real fires. Some charity events are held. There is also an outdoor bar and pizza oven when weather permits. Large children’s play area in the grounds.
