Wetherspoons town centre outlet converted from former bank. It is possible to drink at

tables inside the former bank vault in the centre of the pub. Large paved outdoor drinking

area for the summer months. The usual Wetherspoons cask offering is

complemented by the manager’s choice of beers sourced nationally and usually

including a pale, bitter, and dark beer. There are numerous photos and information

displayed around the pub about Congleton's past. Busy with a young crowd at weekends

but also popular for lunchtime and early evening diners while older drinkers enjoy the range

of beers and competitive prices throughout the week. Car park is accessed from Antrobus St and you need to enter your registration on entering the pub
