This Pub is Closed Long Term
Situated close to the Roman Road connecting Manchester to Oldham, the pub was originally a row of cottages back in 1843. It is now a popular community local and whilst open plan, it still feels like three separate rooms, served by one long bar. The pub has been nicely refurbished internally. There is a fenced table area to the front and the walled beer garden to the side with two smoking shelters, one heated, overlooked by a towering pear tree. Wednesday is Quiz Night, Sunday Karaoke Night.
Off road car parking is available, by the side, accessed via James St, then Windsor St.
Reopened after COVID in 2021
This Pub serves no changing beers and 3 regular beers.
