Historic Interest

The pub was built in 1995/6 on Planning Application 47869/95 as part of a 25,000 sqm leisure complex. In 2003 it passed from Tom Cobleigh Ltd ownership to the Spirit Pub Company which was based at Bury St Edmunds as part of Greene King. It then opened as a Fayre & Square outlet before changing to a Hungry Horse outlet. It sold Greene King IPA on and off at various times, but locating the handpump at the bottom end of the bar was not exactly clever!
