This Pub is Closed Long Term

The Cottage Tavern is currently closed and in danger of closing for good.

The local community is taking action.

They are proposing to create:

a welcoming cafe by day, serving fresh coffee, cakes and deli lunches

a vibrant pub by night, hosting quiz nights, birthday parties and community events

a health and wellbeing hub, with space for visiting nurses, mental health drop-ins etc

a flexible venue, rentable for clubs, workshops and co-working

a true community asset, owned and run by the community for the community.
