A large extremely popular single storey town centre pub which has kept the name of the former car showroom and workshop built in 1926. It opened as a Wetherspoon's in 1999 and was extended to the rear in 2014, doubling the size of the building. Fifteen hand pumps with at least eight ever changing beers, as well as the Wetherspoon's regulars, with good value food being available all day. It holds two beer and cider festivals a year. There is an outdoor seating area to the rear and a smaller one at the front.
