Previously known as the Number 39 Hopstar Brewery Tap which had been championing Original Live Music since 2012 and was a multi award winning continental style bar for both beer and cider in the centre of Darwen.

Reopened in August of 2026 by Deano and Kimberly who run the Kettle Cafe Bar a couple of doors up the street with son Jake at the helm too.

Live music will be returning when the new owners have settled in but the ever popular open mic night on the last Thursday of the month is already booked in.
