Modern pub named after the rows of houses built by the Derwent Iron Company for its workers, which were mostly demolished in the mid-1920s. This spacious and well-decorated Wetherspoon establishment is a real asset to Consett town centre. An excellent beer selection, including local ales, and good food make this social pub popular with a wide clientele of all ages.
The pub underwent an extensive refurbishment in 2024 and upon reopening has continued to offer good quality beers.
This Pub serves 3 changing beers and 3 regular beers.
