micropub
This grade II listed building (originally built in 17th century and extended at the rear in the 18th century) has only recently been converted to a pub. The long narrow building has original wooden floor boards throughout and is decorated with a nautical theme. The front has modern wood panelled walls and a small curved wooden bar with a brick arch above. A passageway leads (past a stairway) to a rear snug with bare brick walls and a wood burner. Beyond this is a large patio area with chairs/tables made from converted barrels, plus additional benches. The pub is table service only despite no food being served.
