This Pub is Permanently Closed
DEC-19: FOLLOWING REFUSAL OF ACV THE PUB IS NOW REPORTED CLOSED AND BOARDED-UP. Application made to convert to housing Apr-20.
A 15th century pub originally known as the Old Cock, the current name referring to the extra horse added to help pull heavy loads up the hill to Sevenoaks. Outside is an unusual two-tier decked terrace. Nearby a path leading to a garden and stream is very attractive. Home cooked food is chalked up daily and Sunday lunch is recommended but booking in advance is advised as it is very popular. Roaring log fires in the winter !
