Victorian pub closed in July 2015 while upstairs is converted to flats.

Reopened but has been completely revamped to a modern style. Closed again in 2025 and revamped. The Main bar is on the ground floor where snacks are available. If you wish to eat the main dining room is on the first floor, an open kitchen on the second floor and a private dining room with a small bar on the top floor

Historic Interest

Local listing:- Neo-Baroque pub. Three storeys to parapet plus dormers. Light red brick rubbers with Portland stone and stucco bands. Caroque broken pediment above parapet. Round and Moorish arches to window recesses with keystone decoration.
