While we had this place recorded as a pub it was more likely a restaurant, especially since 2014. The restaurant suffered a fire in April 2019 and while it was initially hoped to repair and reopen this has not been possible.

Later 19th-century (not on 1848 OS map). Category C listed. Historic Environment Scotland ref: LB19591.
