Large two roomed pub on a residential street. Up to four real ales or ciders are available. Sports are shown on large screens. Large car park at rear which is rare for area. Also has patio area at rear which is dominated by the very large chestnut tree from which pub takes its name.

Excellent value Sunday lunches are a feature - advanced booking recommended.
