This popular pub just outside the city centre has a very smart yet comfortable interior with a large main bar and a more intimate area at the back. With 6 handpulls, there is always at least one local ale on as well as guest ales from other brewers plus a real cider. Note there are several TV screens both inside and outside, which is large drinking area There is an ample pay car park (ask for a voucher from the staff before paying.) A function room upstairs with private bar is also available. Meals all day with breakfast till noon. There is a designated dog friendly area.
