History: a distinctive oversize gable set the division between lounge and vault in this modern 1960s era estate pub. Lively in atmosphere, welcoming too, but somewhat spartan inside. Behind the lounge there were two rooms for amusements - one with pool, the other had arcade-style games. Disco Fri/Sat. Note the cat tiles in the toilets and on the bar front. Latterly sold cask Robinsons Hatters, and Best Bitter.
Historic Interest
New-build house by Robinsons Brewery, opened 1960.
