The pub is large L-shaped area with tables throughout. The bar counter is formed from naturally curved planks of solid oak, so take care when putting down your glass!.

There's a recently refurbished patio area in front of the pub, with views across fields.

Home-cooked food is available all day, using local ingredients, and features a range of pies with imaginative fillings. A quiz night is held on the third Thursday of the month.
