There are two rooms downstairs, each with an open fire hearth. Upstairs there is a function room with a small bar (no real ale).
Two cask beers kept on tap. The Spitting Feathers Best is badged as Castle Bitter.
Nearby is the Cheshire Library, one of the earliest free library's in England.
