A basic single room bar with wood panelling and an ornate wooden shelving behind the bar. The wood burning stove provides a cosy atmosphere in wintertime. Two large screen TV for sports fans (Celtic FC pub). Limited facilities, but clean and tidy. After a year closed the former Empire Bar re-opened in Aug 2025 as a family run, Irish themed Careys bar. No Real Ale served here.
