Historic Interest

The Lizard Lounge, formerly known as the Garage, is in Nottingham City Council's Lace Market Conservation Area.

Originally the Ad-lib Club, it was acquired by Brian Selby of Selectadisc fame, who re-named it The Garage. Under that banner it became the first UK club to play house music (Nottingham Post 26 September 2012).
