A cosy pub acknowledged for the quality and quantity of its beers, selling at least four and up to six cask ales. The pub is also noted for its food, with home-cooking a speciality. Teas and coffees are also served. Dogs are welcome and it is convenient for the railway station and all buses through the town. Quiz night is Tuesday.
